Choosing a bathroom mirror isn't as simple as it seems

The bathroom is not just a small (though sometimes it can be very large) room without windows, with a sink and a private bathroom. There is room for decor items, as well as optional accessories and furniture. And one of the most important items here is, of course, the mirror. Think about how, for example, would you be able to shave without seing the result in your reflection. An additional bonus of having a mirror in the bathroom is that it visually expands the space and makes the bathroom more spacious. So, you understand how a mirror in the bathroom is of great importance and its choice must be done responsibly.

One thing to bear in mind is that normal room mirror isn't suitable for a batroom because there are special conditions of high humidity and temperature changes. The manufacturing technology of all mirrors is the same, regardless of their purpose, but te coating of the back side can vary. Bathroom mirrors have water-resistant backside coating, which allows them to successfully withstand the aggressive conditions prevailing in the bathroom area. Also, mirrors can be finished in aluminum or silver. Silver coating is far more durable, but at the same time much more expensive. When it comes to the frame - bathroom mirrors should be insert into rust-proof metal or plastic frame. A wooden frame is not suitable in this case as wood reacts to the negative high humidity.

All in all, if you consider all these aspects and pick the mirror correctly, it will remain clean and shiny for a long time, delighting you with a high-quality reflection. Bathroom mirrors come in various shapes, some quite fancy, but generally they are always square (rectangular), round or oval. Pick a mirror that fits into the overall design - here are some pics to help you make your choice.
